About 5 Loaves & 2 Fish food pantry: In late 2019, Guy and Drena Dodson moved from Broadmoor Terrace to Lakeside in Shreveport. In November Drena walked into Changing Directions Ministry food pantry to volunteer. Just a couple of months after arriving, the director approached Guy and Drena and informed them she was moving out of town and was going to shut the doors on the pantry. Through prayer and the support of their home church, they took over the pantry in May 2020. They immediately knew 5 Loaves and 2 Fish was going to be more than a food pantry. With the start of 2021, the ministry has added a diaper bank, bible studies, and have been able to host events for churches and other ministries. We look forward to what God has planed for 5 Loaves and 2 Fish.
